In this post I am going to tell about Dauna Paula situated in Goa and in fact I will rate it as the most beautiful place in Goa.This place has a beautiful love story attached to it.The story of Dauna Paula, aportuguese and Caspar Dias,a Goan lad.It is said that at this place Dauna Paula committed suicide.This place is called the Lovers Paradise due to the story that has been attached to this place. According one legend the Viceroy's daughter,Dauna Paula after facing objections from her family about her love affair with a poor fisherman,Caspar Dias jumped of the cliff.
For this reason This place is named after her and is also called as "suicide point".This is a very beautiful place surrounded by arabian sea from three sides.
Watching confluence of Mandovi river and Zuari river from this place is great and special attraction of this place.Besides I saw people enjoying boating and rafting here.Tranquil and blue, Dona Paula unravel the ultimate in aquatic sport and fun. Dona Paula Sports Club, Dona Paula offers some of the best water sports facilities to the sports enthusiasts including Water-scooter rides, Motor-boat rides, etc.
